It is recommended to island visitors to take advantage of a day of rest, also when just on a brief stop in Ibiza, to take the opportunity to widen their cultural horizons by walking the narrow, winding streets of Dalt Vila, still breathing the atmosphere of the Middle Ages, with on top, breathtaking views over the old town and the town's port area.
Some streets and avenues contain a large number of different types of shops.

One can find all sorts of products in Ibiza's Port area: Marina Botafoc, as well as on the avenues España, Isidoro Macabich, Bartolomé Roselló and Ignacio Wallis, the main arteries of the town.
The maritime docks and its proximities, situated in the port of Ibiza, are the entrance to the island for thousands of tourists, who upon arrival come across one of the most popular areas of the town.
The bustling port offers its visitors a never ending string of bars, clubs, restaurants and small shops to pop into.
In the little pedestrian streets of the Marina, one finds a large selection of souvenirs, clothes, fashion items and objects.
The tourists, as well as the residents of Eivissa, like promenading around los Andenes, the plaza de sa Terulia or the plaza de sa Riba, while enjoying an ice-cream, gazing at the luxury yachts berthed there, window-shopping or meeting someone they know.

At night Ibiza Town becomes even more animated thanks to drag queens, street artists, promotional parades for the discotheques and the original individuals, who've made the night ambiance of Ibiza's port famous all over Europe.
